This is a fun science exploration book for young children (early elementary)。 Each experiment is nicely detailed and often includes an example photograph。 The instructions are easy to follow and most of the supplies needed are common household items and do not require you to spend a lot of money。 In addition, the experiments all contain "The Hows and Whys" section where you can read with your children a nice explanation of the science behind the fun experiment。 All of the processes are simple an This is a fun science exploration book for young children (early elementary)。 Each experiment is nicely detailed and often includes an example photograph。 The instructions are easy to follow and most of the supplies needed are common household items and do not require you to spend a lot of money。 In addition, the experiments all contain "The Hows and Whys" section where you can read with your children a nice explanation of the science behind the fun experiment。 All of the processes are simple and easy for young children to implement with instruction。 I do wish that the photographs included would also involve some more step-by-step phases of the process rather than just the final result。 And, some experiments include no photo at all。I appreciate the variety of types of experiments -- the book is divided into four sections: Liquids, Solids, Gases, and then Light, Color & Sound。 I know that a lot of the experiments in here can be found via Pinterest or a Google search but honestly I think having all of this nicely compiled into one paperback book is wonderful。 It is a great book for homeschoolers or for families looking for engaging summer fun。 ***Note: I was given a review copy of this book via Page Street Publishing。 Opinions are my own。 。。。more
